It is getting late in the day and I have had to go back to my instructions to see how to add to my blog - that is not good!
I have registered myself into bloglines and have subscribed to some sites using the subjects bloglines suggested, plus added the PowerHouse Museum Picture of the Day blog.
Not sure how I could use this function in my daily work but the more I searched and especially when I looked on the google blog search, the more I became familiar with the process.
The sites I selected were more of general interest such as the news, movies etc and I can see sites of interest that I can pass on to family members.
